Steve proves his keeper status (9/23/06)

I just figured it would be later rather than sooner.

First thing this morning (11, it's Saturday and we don't have kids). I took a shower. I always take my rings off because soap and shampoo make them slippy and I'm terrified of dropping them down the drain. I did this, took a shower, got out and went to put my rings on. Lost my grip on my engagement ring and watched it bounce upward twice in very slow motion before it went effortlessly right down the HVAC vent.

I was so traumatized I went to the mall. Mr. Sweetypants went down in the buggy crawlspace, cut a hole in the whatever that thing is, retrieved the ring, then patched the whatever that thing is back up.

He's a keeper. :)
